A rather unique and remote gold deposit in southwestern Colorado known as the Summitville district. The Summitville district lies in the southern San Juan Mountains of Colorado and has a very unique geology and Ore deposition structure. It is still an area of active interest as large deposits of gold are still present. Originally published as Professional Paper 343, this long out of print book now back in print.
