It is a very concise compendium of information on composite materials mechanics. The book is very straightforward and everything is explained very clearly.

Also, the book does has quite a few errors and typos. Dr. Kaw has an errata sheet on his website: [...| |"well written, very readable, clear, and easy to follow. It has good quality figures, references, and exercises at the end of each chapter, and a good subject index at the end of the book.
