Things I like:

1) This book, unlike many others, presents its material in a clear, concise manner; the PSPICE examples alone allow the student to play around with concepts at their own pace.

2) The author does a fantastic job o|About the Author|Ph.D. Purdue University 1985. Licensed Professional Engineer-Indiana. Area of specialization include power systems analysis, power electronics, electronics, and computer simulation.

Power Electronics is intended to be an introductory text in power electronics, primarily for the undergraduate electrical engineering student. The text is written for some flexibility in the order of the topics. Much of the text includes computer simulation using PSpice as a supplement to analytical circuit solution techniques.
